Unity Plaza is a design proposal to address the need for housing, commercial and office space needs for one of Miami’s most underserved communities. The goal of Unity Plaza is to provide much needed affordable, workforce and market rate housing, along with commercial service opportunities and incubator office spaces in a safe and attractive place along the major Northwest 27th Avenue transit corridor.

The residential portion of the design affords opportunities for a variety of family units of varied size and financial ability to be a part of this development. Unity Plaza is intended to be a catalyst for the community and an example of how good design can make a positive impact not only for the residents privileged to live there, but for all others that pass by or visit this iconic development.
