A lively and whimsical design for a pet hotel to be located at Disney World in Orlando, Florida. The design solution seeks to break down the building program into a series of “parts” or “buildings”, assembled under a “pavilion” roof that appears to “float” over the assembled functional spaces, distinguishing dog, cat and human spaces. Building and site design strategies address energy conservation principles incorporated throughout, including the use of recycled materials, solar panels and natural lighting.
